Karnataka High Court takes suo motu cognisance of rising Dengue cases in State

The bench initiated the suo motu proceedings based on a letter written by a reader of an English newspaper to the Editor of the newspaper on July 9 and related news stories.

The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday took suo motu cognisance of the rising cases of dengue across the State and directed the Karnataka government to submit details of all preventive and remedial steps taken so far to contain the spread of the disease.
