Karti Chidambaram moves Delhi High Court to quash fresh CBI case over Diageo Scotland bribery
The CBI has accused Chidambaram of taking bribe from Diageo Scotland in exchange for lifting a liquor import ban in 2005, when his father, P Chidambaram, was the Union Finance Minister.
Congress leader and Sivaganga Member of Parliament (MP) Karti Chidambaram has approached the Delhi High Court seeking quashing of the fresh corruption case registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with alleged bribery by alcoholic beverage company Diageo Scotland.
