Kerala High Court initiates contempt of court against CPI(M) District Secretary for continuing office construction despite orders

The Court had ordered the immediate cessation of the construction of CPI(M) offices in Udumbanchola and Iddukki after finding that it was in violation of orders of the Revenue Authority.

The Kerala High Court on Thursday initiated suo moto proceeding against CPI (M) Idduki District Secretary, CV Varghese, for continuing the construction of party offices in violation of its orders to halt construction. [One Earth One Life v State of Kerala & Ors.]
