Mindcrest co-founder and Senior Vice President, George Hefferan will head the New York office..George Hefferan co-founded Mindcrest along with Ganesh Natarajan, Rohan Dalal and Teju Deshpande in 2001. He has over 20 years of legal and business experience and has previously worked at McGuire Woods LLP..This expansion is part of Mindcrest’s “best shore” strategy of extending its global footprint and to service specific client needs in various markets..Speaking to Bar & Bench, George Hefferan said, “The momentum and significant growth from 2011 has continued into 2012. We have expanded our core service offerings and entered new industry segments to increasingly serve a global client base in multiple languages. Our presence in New York City is an important milestone for Mindcrest”..Bar & Bench also spoke to Mindcrest President Ganesh Natarajan. Ganesh said, “The LPO industry is maturing to becoming customer-centric. The best LPOs are focused on providing specific solutions in specific industries. From horizontal offerings, the next evolution is to provide vertical solutions based on deep domain knowledge”..Talking about the reasons to set up this new facility in New York Ganesh said, “We have many important clients in the greater NYC area and it helps us serve them better. With our focus on law firms, pharmaceutical and financial institutions, this move was very logical for us”..Ganesh further said, “Mindcrest will be providing all services through the New York office but it is expected thatthere will be an increase in the volume of litigation and compliance services work for financial institutions, pharmaceutical and large law firms resulting from this new permanent presence in New York”..Mindcrest already has an office in Chicago, Pune (India) and Salt Lake City.
