Civic body can't shirk responsibility: Delhi High Court orders ₹9 lakh compensation to senior citizen for water-logging

Ensuring that the public drainage system is fully functional, and avoiding the blockage of sediments causing choking of drains is the prerogative of the MCD, the Court said.
