The Madras High Court on Monday directed the State Government and the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry to respond on whether any financial aid can be given to advocates and registered advocate clerks during the national lockdown in place to minimise the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
