<p>In view of COVID-19 pandemic, the Delhi High Court has notified that the present system of hearing shall continue upto January 16, 2021. </p>.<p>All pending/non-urgent matters listed between December 1 and January 16 are adjourned en bloc to dates in February and March, 2021. </p>.<p>The courts of Registrars and Joint Registrars shall continue to take up matters as per existing arrangement. </p>.<p>With effect from October 12, two courts of Joint Registrars (Judicial) have begun taking up the matters through physical mode. Others continue to hold court through videoconferencing as per roster. </p>.<p>All the courts of Joint Registrars (Judicial) have also begun recording evidence in cases involving urgency or where any direction for expeditious/time bound disposal.</p>.<p>It is again clarified that cases instituted in between January 1, 2018, and March 21, 2020 shall not be taken up by the High Court in physical hearing. </p>.<p>Since September, the High Court had resumed <a href="https://www.barandbench.com/news/physical-hearing-in-delhi-hc-to-continue-benches-to-hear-cases-reduced">physical hearing</a> in its premises a limited manner.</p>.<p><strong>[Read Notice]</strong></p>
