The Court has directed Khan to continue cooperating with the investigation.
An FIR was lodged against Khan for commission of offences of sedition and promoting religious enmity in connection with his remarks highlighting the targeting of Muslims by “bigots” in India during COVID-19. In his post on social media, Khan had also expressed his thanks to Kuwait for expressing international concern on the issue faced by the Muslim minority in India.
