<p>After nearly a year, the Delhi High Court will resume its complete physical functioning from March 15, 2021. </p>.<p>Till March 12, the existing system of hearings will continue.</p>.<p>After holding only virtual courts from March 2020 on account of COVID-19 pandemic, the High Court had resumed <a href="https://www.barandbench.com/news/physical-hearing-in-delhi-hc-to-continue-benches-to-hear-cases-reduced">physical hearing</a> in its premises a <a href="https://www.barandbench.com/news/litigation/covid19-delhi-hc-begins-physical-hearing-five-benches-take-fifty-cases">limited manner</a> in September 2020. </p>.<p>From January 18, 2021, eleven Benches of the High Court – two Division Benches, three Single Benches (Civil), three Single Benches (Criminal) and three Original Jurisdiction Benches- had begun holding physical court.</p>.<p> Some Benches have even adopted the hybrid mode from conducting court proceedings. </p>.<p>Earlier this month, the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) had passed a resolution requesting Chief Justice <strong>DN Patel</strong> to pass directions for the <a href="https://www.barandbench.com/news/resume-complete-physical-functioning-dhcba-chief-justice-delhi-high-court">expeditious resumption</a> of complete physical functioning of courts in the capital.</p>.<h3><strong>Read the office order:</strong></h3>
