Enforcement Directorate now rules the country; judiciary has to stand up to protect a judge: Satyendar Jain to Delhi High Court

The submissions were made in a plea by Jain challenging an order of Rouse Avenue Court transferring proceedings of his bail matter in a PMLA case from one judge to another upon ED's request.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has become an "uncommon being" which now rules the country and the judiciary has to stand up to protect a judge against whom aspersions are being cast, Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain told the Delhi High Court on Wednesday.
