Litigants must abide by Supreme Court order suspending limitation for filings before all Tribunals: NCLT

The National Company Law Tribunal has issued a notice clarifying that with respect to the matters falling under its jurisdiction, all litigants must abide by the Supreme Court order suspending the period of limitation for filings before all Tribunals with effect from March 15.

The Notice issued on March 24 reads,

With regard to limitation, it is clear that the order dated 23.03.2020 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in suo moto WP-03/2020 is binding on everyone in India, for further clarification, it is hereby clarified that the litigant public, with regard to the matters falling within the jurisdiction of the NCLT shall abide by the aforesaid orders of theHon'ble Supreme Court on India."
