Magistrates have to apply mind, record reasons while rejecting B summary report filed by Police: Karnataka High Court

The Court said that when a Magistrate does not accept closure report but only accepts the version of the complainant and issues summons setting the criminal trial in motion, he has to give reasons for such a decision.
