Manipur Violence: State tells Supreme Court no reported violence in last two days, situation returning to normalcy

The Court called for due arrangements to be made in relief camps, and for necessary precautions to be taken for the rehabilitation of displaced persons, and to protect places of religious worship.

The Supreme Court on Monday was informed by Solicitor General of India (SGI) Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Manipur government, that concerns regarding the ongoing violence in the State will be addressed and that remedial measures will be taken on a proactive basis.
