[School fees amid COVID-19] Rajasthan HC allows private schools to collect 70% of tuition fees in instalments
Schools have been prohibited from expelling students from schools on their parents' failure to pay their fees. However, schools can disallow students from attending classes on account of such failure.
In an interim order passed on Monday, the Rajasthan High Court has allowed private schools in the State to collect 70% of the annual tuition fees in three instalments for online classes conducted amid the COVID-19 pandemic (Society Of Catholic Education Institutions In Rajasthan and ors v. State of Rajasthan).
