Supreme Court agrees to urgently hear challenge to Bangalore University Vice-Chancellor notification

On March 16 this year, the Karnataka High Court had quashed Prof Venugopal's appointment as VC on the ground that his appointment was made by the Governor without the State government's concurrence.
