Missing minor girl case: Supreme Court transfers investigation from UP Police to Delhi Police

The girl was tracked down by the Delhi Police on Friday and subsequently placed in the custody of the Gorakhpur Police to be presented before the magistrate.

On the recommendation of Additional Solicitor General RS Suri, the Supreme Court today transferred further investigation in the case of a minor girl missing from Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur to the Delhi Police (Neelam Kanojia v. State of Uttar Pradesh).
