[Undercounting COVID-19] Orissa High Court takes up issue after District figures on CDMO website is shown outnumbering official figures
The Court has asked the AG to inform whether the issue was enquired into by the Additional Chief Secretary (Health) and what the factual position is.
The Orissa High Court on Wednesday took up the issue of possible undercounting of COVID-19 deaths after being told that the COVID-19 figures on the website of the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO), Nayagarh appeared to outnumber the official figures (Nishikanta Mishra vs State of Odisha & Ors).
