The Orissa High Court has resolved to continue with its present mode of limited functioning till November..The Notice issued today informs that the Court's regular functioning will be suspended till November 20, 2020 (Friday)..The decision was taken pursuant to a Full Court Resolution to this effect..Till November 20, the procedure notified on 21 August will have to be complied with, it has been announced..This Notice had continued the operation of a previous order issued on August 21 which also introduced guidelines for the working of Subordinate Courts. All of these orders have been extended after the resolution of the Full Bench..In the order dated August 21, the Subordinate Courts in areas not declared as containment zones were directed, as far as is possible, to conduct proceedings through video conferencing during official working hours..Where video conferencing is impossible, the Courts are allowed to function with restricted physical hearings, complying with safety and distancing norms..Read the Notice here:
