The petition is filed by Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress challenging the Maharashtra Governor’s decision to invite BJP to form government in the State.

Item 301 in Court 2 – W.P.(C) No. 1031/2019

Bench: Justices NV Ramana, R Subhash Reddy, and BR Gavai

This petition filed by the Editor of Kashmir Times challenges restrictions on the media and communication in Kashmir valley which has been under clampdown since August 5 when the special status of the State of Jammu and Kashmir was revoked.

A petition filed by Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad. Azad had sought permission to visit Kashmir and had also sought production of government orders under which communication restrictions and curfew were imposed.

Item 46 in Court No 6 – W.P.(C) 12189/2019 

Bench: Rajiv Shakdher

The case pertains to Khandelwal’s challenge to an order by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) which imposed a penalty of over Rs 29 lakh on him on account of several violations of IBC.

Today in Court: The Court today directed the Committee of Creditors (CoC) of Bhushan Power and Steel to deposit the amount which was paid to its legal counsel in relation to the company’s corporate insolvency resolution process with the Court’s Registry.
