The Indo-British All-Party Parliamentary Group, in conjunction with the National Indian Students and Alumni Union UK, is hosting a virtual event to mark the 'United Nations International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women.'

The event, which is scheduled to commence at 6:30 PM on Sunday, November 29, 2020, will see addresses by:

  • Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India

  • Senior Advocate Madhavi Divan, Additional Solicitor General of India

  • Senior Advocate Meenakshi Arora

  • Shabana Azmi, Actor and Social Activist

  • Virendra Sharma, Member of Parliament, UK and Chair of the Indo-British All Party Group

  • Baroness Verma, UK Ministerial Champion for tackling violence against women and girls overseas

  • Sanam Arora, Founder and Chairperson, National Indian Students and Alumni Union UK.

  • Advocate Tanvi Dubey
