RecTracker: 60 students of NLU Jodhpur Batch of 2023 secure job placements

35 students accepted offers on Day Zero while 25 students received PPOs.

A total of 60 students of the 2023 Batch of National Law University, Jodhpur have been placed at domestic and international law firms, as well as corporates.

While 35 students accepted job offers on Day Zero held from July 28-30, 25 students received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).

Out of a batch of 111 students, 61 appeared for recruitment on Day Zero.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was the leading recruiter, with 15 hires, followed by Trilegal with 10. Khaitan & Co and Saraf & Partners hired 6 students each, while J Sagar Associates recruited 4 students.

AZB & Partners (Mumbai) and IndusLaw recruited 3 students each, whereas Argus Partners, IC Universal Legal and Luthra & Luthra Partners Law Offices agreed to take to on board 2 students each.

AZB & Partners (Bengaluru), Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co and Anagram Partners recruited 1 student each.

Apart from this, 1 student each bagged training contracts at magic circle firms - Herbert Smith Freehills London, Linklaters LLP and Allen & Overy, while 1 student was hired by ICICI Bank.

Attributing the success of the recruitment drive to the Vice-Chancellor and Director of the Recruitment and Internship Coordination Committee (RICC), the team wrote in its press release,

"The success of the recruitment process on Day Zero has to be attributed to the University’s Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Poonam Saxena and Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Director of the Recruitment and Internship Co-ordination Committee.
