Reimagining law prep: Ratio offers free, open access to CLAT & AILET resources

The platform is modelled after Khan Academy, but for law entrance tests, and includes both written and video lessons.

Bar & Bench

With the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 and All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 just a few months away, Ratio provides aspirants with high-quality resources as a free and open-source platform.

The platform is modelled after Khan Academy, but for law entrance tests, and includes both written and video lessons.

Currently, students can solve previous year question papers of CLAT and AILET. They will receive feedback for every wrong and right answer in order to sharpen their skills.

Ratio also hosts a forum for students to build a community to discuss papers and help each other prep.

Built on Moodle, an open-source learning management system, and the spirit of Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS), Ratio promotes the ethos of openness, transparency and accessibility.

The Ratio team has recently invited contributors for its Phase 2 development for specific sub-topics and written lessons to widen their coverage for the law entrance preparation.

Built primarily through voluntary contributions, Ratio emphasises transparency and peer engagement. All resources will help students to prepare for CLAT, AILET, and NLSAT.

To explore the platform or contribute lessons, visit Ratio's official site or join its forum discussions.
