IndiGo in-house team leads airline’s order for 300 Airbus aircraft
IndiGo has placed an order for 300 A320neo family aircraft, worth an estimated $33 billion, to replace old planes in its fleet and to operate non-stop flights to long-haul destinations, reported ET.
The order, one of the biggest for Airbus from a single airline operator, is for a mix of A320neo, A321neo, and A321XLR (Extra Long Range) aircraft. This will take IndiGo’s total number of A320neo family aircraft orders to 730.
The in-house legal team of Indigo advised the airline. The team was led by General Counsel Priya Mehra along with Associate General Counsel Bharat Bahadur and Sarah Rufus.
