The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) declared Irelia Company Pte. Limited, an investment vehicle of the CVC group, as a successful bidder and awarded the right to own and operate a cricket franchise in Ahmedabad under the Indian Premier League named as Gujarat Titans.

The deal was valued at approximately US$ 750 million (approx. ₹5,625 crore)

CVC is a British based Private Equity Fund with approx. US$ 111 billion in secured commitments since inception.
