Anagram, Veritas, Shardul Amarchand act on Metro Brands acquiring 100% shareholding of Cravatex Brands

Footwear retail chain Metro Brands Limited has acquired 100% of the shareholding of Cravatex Brands Limited for an undisclosed amount.

Anagram Partners advised Metro Brands.

The transaction team consisted of Ankit Mishra (Partner), Shwetank Chaubey (Senior Associate), Aditya A. (Associate) and Anoushka Shetty (Associate).

Veritas Legal advised Cravatex Brands on the deal.

The team was led by Kunal Doshi (Partner), Ankit Kumar (Senior Associate), Anamika and Janhavi Rajkumar (Associates).

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas acted for Cravatex investor Paragon Partners.

This acquisition is meant to expand the presence of Metro Brands in India's growing market for sportswear and athleisure.
