Antares acts on Industrial Investment Trust stake sale in Future Generali to the Generali Group

The deal was valued at ₹225 crore

Industrial Investment Trust Limited has sold its stake in Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Limited for ₹225 crore to the Generali Group.

Antares Legal acted on the deal.

The team advising on the mandate was led by Siddharth Bhavnani (Partner) and Ishita Bhardwaj.

The transaction received regulatory approvals, including from the Competition Commission of India, earlier this year.

IITL is primarily a holding company, holding investments in its subsidiaries and other group Companies and joint ventures. The company invests in equity shares listed as well as unlisted units of mutual funds, fixed deposits with Banks, Inter-Corporate Deposits and Loans to its Group Companies/entities.
