AZB, IndusLaw, Linklaters act on Yes Bank 15,000 crore FPO

YES Bank has raised approximately INR 15,000 crores by way of a further public offering of equity shares (FPO) through fast track mode.

AZB & Partners acted for Yes Bank and the team was led by Partners Varoon Chandra, Lionel D’Almeida and Richa Choudhary and Senior Associates Rahul Aggarwal and Shivali Singh.

IndusLaw acted for eight Book Running Lead Managers including Kotak Mahindra Capital, SBI Capital, Axis Capital, Citigroup Global, DSP Merrill Lynch, HSBC Securities, ICICI Securities, and YES Securities on this FPO.

Linklaters Singapore acted as International Legal Counsel to Book Running Lead Managers and the team was led by Partner Amit Singh along with Associate Calvin Soon.

This marquee transaction is the fourth largest equity capital raise across all sectors, and the largest equity capital raise in the banking sector in the last ten years. It is also the largest further public offer in the market and very well covered by media.
