QSR operator Devyani International Limited has acquired 80.72% stake in Sky Gate Hospitality Private Limited for ₹419.60 crore, along with its three brands ‘Biryani By Kilo’, ‘Goila Butter Chicken’, and ‘The Bhojan’.

Burgeon Law advised Sky Gate Hospitality on this acquisition deal.

The transaction team consisted of Roma Priya (Founder), Ankit Bhasin (Partner), Abhisshek Singlla (Partner), Akshita Mittal (Senior Associate), Saransh Agarwal (Senior Associate) and Jesika Somani (Associate).

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas represented Alpha Wave Ventures, an existing investor in Sky Gate Hospitality, on this transaction.

Devyani International Limited operates franchises such as Pizza Hut and KFC, and has now added Sky Gate Hospitality's franchises to its portfolio.
