Cyril Amarchand, IndusLaw, Ashurst bite on Burger King 810 crore IPO

Burger King Rs. 810 crore IPO is recorded as the second-most successful initial public offering of 2020, as investors subscribed the IPO by more than 157 times.

The Company also raised INR 1.5 Billion through a rights issue and a private placement, as a part of its pre-IPO placement before the filing of its red herring prospectus.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as Indian legal counsel to Burger King and the team was led by Partners Yash Ashar, Gokul Rajan and Devaki Mankad along with Senior Associates Meesha Varshney and Shiv Bhargava, and associates Amitpal Singh and Rutvik Shukla.
