Cyril Amarchand, Khaitan, Davis Polk, Baker & McKenzie, Morrison Cohen act on the acquisition of Srijan Tech by Material Holdings

This transaction marks Material's first acquisition in India.

Srijan Technologies, a worldwide digital engineering firm got acquired by Material Holdigs, LLC (Material) by way of share purchase.

The General Corporate Practice of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Srijan and its founder and CEO, Rahul Dewan on the deal.

The firm assisted with structuring, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing the transaction documents. The team also assisted in providing general advisory on the Indian regulatory issues affecting the proposed transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Ritika Rathi (Partner), Sreetama Sen (Principal Associate), Nooreen Haider (Senior Associate) and Yash Jain (Associate).

Gyanendra Kumar (Partner); along with Ritika Rathi (Partner) advised on regulatory matters and structuring aspects of the proposed transaction.

Khaitan & Co advised Material and Tailwind Capital on the deal.

The team comprised of Saswat Subasit (Partner), Kaushik Babu (Senior Associate), Ruturaj Jere (Senior Associate) and Shivani Devpura (Associate)

Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP acted as U.S. legal counsel to Material

Baker & McKenzie acted as international legal counsel to Material.

Morrison Cohen LLP acted as international legal counsel to Srijan.

Srijan is one of the world's leading Drupal service providers, with over 600 digital and data engineers in India. Rahul Dewan also serves on the board of the Drupal Association.
