Dua Associates, LKS, Al Tamimi & Co act on Shell Group acquiring Raj Petro Specialities

This acquisition supports Shell Lubricants’ bid to grow its portfolio and customer base in India.

Shell Group has acquired Raj Petro Specialities Private Limited from the Brenntag Group.

Dua Associates advised the Shell Group on the acquisition. The Firm advised on all aspects of the transaction including conducting due diligence, structuring of the transaction, drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents and closing assistance and advisory. The firm also assisted Shell Group in obtaining the unconditional approval from the Competition Commission of India for the transaction.
