GameChanger Law, Goyel & Goyal, Argus Partners, First Principles Law act on InspeCity fundraise

The funds will be used by InspeCity to support ongoing R&D.

Inspecity Space Laboratories Private Limited has raised ~₹46 crore ($5.6 million) from a seed fundraise led by Ashish Kacholia, with participation from Speciale Invest, Shastra VC, Antler India, DeVC, MGF-Kavachh, and Anicut Capital.

First Principles Law advised InspeCity on this fundraise.

GameChanger Law Advisors represented Speciale Invest on this transaction. The Firm worked on reviewing and negotiating the transaction documentation.

Goyel & Goyal advised Existing Major Investor Shastra VC on their re-investment in InspeCity, with a team comprising Deepika Yadav (Partner) and Aparna Mukherjee (Associate).

Goyel & Goyal’s New Delhi team led by Akshit Goyal (Partner) along with assistance from Abhilasha Mittal (Associate) advised new investor MGF – Kavachh on their investment in InspeCity.

The Firm had previously advised InspeCity on their pre-seed funding in 2023.

Founded by Arindrajit Chowdhury, a professor at IIT Bombay, InspeCity is developing in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing (ISAM) solutions focused on satellite life-extension, propulsion, and rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking (RPOD) technologies. 

The proceeds will be used to support ongoing R&D and scale the company’s fully integrated life-extension platform, VEDA (Vehicle for Life Extension and De-orbiting Activities), which is set for a demo mission in 2027.
