Goyel & Goyal, Lex Consult act on Sisir Radar Series A fundraise

Sisir Radar raised $7 million from the fundraise led by 360 ONE Asset.

Indian space and defence technology startup Sisir Radar has raised $7 million from a Series A fundraise led by 360 ONE Asset, with participation from Shastra VC.

Goyel & Goyal’s New Delhi team advised Sisir Radar and its founders on all aspects of the transaction.

The transaction team was led by Akshit Goyal (Partner), with assistance from Associates Sanjeevani Mehrotra, Aparna Mukherjee, and Riya Kapoor.

Goyel & Goyal’s Bengaluru team advised existing lead investor Shastra VC, and existing investor Riverwalk Holdings.

Sisir Radar is focused on the development of advanced radar and sensing solutions, with potential applications across space, defence, and allied strategic sectors.

The company plans to use the funding to develop and launch India’s first privately built L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite, targeted for launch by 2026. The satellite is being designed and engineered in India and is intended to provide high-resolution, all-weather imagery for applications including defence, disaster response, environmental monitoring and urban planning.
