JSA advises British International Investment on financing Sitara

₹1.2 billion has been provided to Sitara by British International Investment.

British International Investment plc. has financed Sitara (Sewa Grih Rin Limited) by way of subscription to non-convertible debentures up to ₹1.2 billion issued by Sitara.

JSA advised British International Investment on this financing deal.

The transaction team consisted of Aashit Shah (Partner), Tirthankar Datta (Partner), Nakul Sonejee (Principal Associate) and Adrika Bisen (Associate).

The primary goal of this debt financing is to enable Sitara to provide home loans to women from the informal sector in order to promote financial inclusion and women’s economic empowerment.
