JSA advises Indigrid on ₹372 crore acquisition of Gadag Transmission

IndiGrid has executed definitive agreements for the acquisition of Gadag Transmission Limited for ₹372 crore from ReNew Transmission Ventures Private Limited and KNI India AS.

JSA Advocates & Solicitors advised IndiGrid on this acquisition.

The transaction team was led by Vishnu Sudarsan (Partner) with support from Shashank Vikram Singh (Partner), Kartikeya GS (Partner), Mehar Vasant (Senior Associate), Priyanka Barik (Senior Associate), Siddhant Thakar (Senior Associate) and Associates Ravneet Singh Gill, Vignesh Ravichandran.

Gadag Transmission is a Build-Own-Operate-Maintain (“BOOM”) Inter-State Transmission System (“ISTS”) project located in Karnataka. Operational since September 2024, GTL comprises approximately 187 circuit kilometres of transmission lines and 1,000 MVA of transformation capacity.
