JSA advises Lok Capital on Marut Drones $6.2 million Series A fundraise

Marut Drones, a Hyderabad-based company, plans to deploy these funds to accelerate several strategic initiatives.

JSA Advocates and Solicitors advised Lok Capital on its $6.2 million investment in Hyderabad based Dronetech company Marut Drones. This would be Marut Drones' series A funding.

The transaction team of JSA consisted of Siddharth Mody (Lead Partner), Prerana Chaudhari (Principal Associate), Alister Sequeira (Senior Associate) and Ayush Chaturvedi (Associate).

Marut Drones, an Hyderabad-based company, plans to deploy these funds to accelerate several strategic initiatives, such as developing cutting-edge agricultural drones tailored to specific customer needs.

The company develops drones for agricultural productivity, healthcare logistics, drones for prevention of mosquito-borne diseases and aerial seeding.

Marut Drones has trained over 700 drone operators and operates a fleet of about 750 drones across 14 states. The company is part of T-Hub's Lab32 program.
