Ummeed Housing Finance has raised $76 million from a Series F fundraise led by A91 Partners and involving both new and existing investors.

JSA assisted A91 Partners on this investment transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Probir Roy Chowdhury (Lead Partner), Yajas Setlur (Partner), Shivani Bhatnagar (Senior Associate) and Nikhil George (Associate).

A91 Partner's investment was structured as a primary and secondary investment, which resulted in an exit for an existing institutional investor.

Ummeed Housing Finance is a housing finance company founded in 2016, which caters to informal and low-income households. The fresh infusion of approx. $36 million will be used to drive the company’s expansion across India.
