JSA assists Serentica Renewables on availing $345.1 million financing for solar and wind projects in Karnataka

Serentica Renewable will utilise the funds for setting up of a 189.27 MW solar power plant and 204 MW wind power plant in Karnataka.

Serentica Renewables India 1 Private Limited has availed rupee term loan facilities not exceeding $345.1 million from Asian Development Bank, New Development Bank, and 2 other lenders.

JSA Advocates & Solicitors advised Serentica Renewables on this financing transaction.

The transaction was led by Karan Mitroo (Partner), along with Purvi Dabbiru (Partner), and Aishwarya Dixit (Principal Associate).

Serentica Renewable will utilise the funds for inter alia, part financing setting up of ground mounted solar photovoltaic capacity plant having 189.27 MW capacity in Karnataka; setting up of 204 MW of wind capacity plant located in Karnataka; and implementation of transmission lines connecting the Solar Project to the Grid Sub Station and transmission lines connecting the Wind Project to the Grid Sub Station and all ancillary works, infrastructure and utilisation.
