JSA, Linklaters advise on the highest ever INVIT monetisation deal

The monetization initiative resulted in raising ₹15,624.9 crore ($1.8 billion), the highest ever monetization value.

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has successfully awarded concessions for round 3 of its InVIT monetization initiative.

The assignment involved assisting in preparing the concession agreements for each project bundle, which combined comprised 10 stretches with an aggregate length of about 890 km.

The monetization initiative resulted in raising ₹15,624.9 crore (USD 1.8 billion), the highest ever monetization value.

JSA advised NHAI on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Vishnu Sudarsan (Lead Partner), Kartikeya GS (Partner) and Siddhant Thakar (Associate).

Along with earlier TOT and InVIT rounds, JSA has now advised NHAI in respect of over USD 2.5 billion of monetization initiatives.

Linklaters acted as international counsel to NHAI InvIT and NHAI on this transaction.
