Leena Gandhi Tewari, Chairperson of multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, USV Private Limited, has purchased two duplex residential flats in Shree Naman Residency's “Naman Xana” project, located at Worli Sea Face, Mumbai for a total sum of ₹639 crores. This is the most expensive residential real estate deal in India.

The combined 22,572 sq ft apartments span the 32nd to 35th floors, with the total transaction amount—after including stamp duty and GST—rising to around ₹703 crore. The deal, at roughly ₹2.83 lakh per sq ft, surpasses recent high-value purchases by other industrialists in the area and underscores Mumbai’s surging ultra-luxury property market. Tewari, a reclusive billionaire with a Forbes-estimated net worth of $3.9 billion, heads the company known for drugs like Glycomet and Roseday.
