Khaitan & Co acts on Kilburn Engineering - Eastend Technologies JV

Kilburn Engineering Limited has entered into a joint venture arrangement with East End Technologies Private Limited, wherein Kilburn and Eastend shall be holding 60:40 stake in the joint venture company, respectively.

Khaitan & Co acted as the legal counsel to Kilburn and advised and assisted them on structuring of the transaction, incorporating the joint venture and drafting, negotiation, finalisation and execution of definitive agreements relating to the transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Shourya Sengupta (Partner), Supallab Chakraborty (Principal Associate) and Vibhav Seth (Principal Associate).

Kilburn is inter alia engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, and commissioning of numerous highly tailored process equipment for wide range of applications for almost 40 years.

Eastend is in the construction and contracting-civil sector, offering general construction services to various industries.

This joint venture has been formed between the parties for undertaking projects involving piping and structural fabrication and erection work, equipment erection work, pre-commissioning support for mechanical works, etc. primarily for industries pertaining to oil/ gas sector, fertilizer sector, petrochemical sector and steel sector.
