Khaitan & Co advises Aditya Birla Fashion on majority stake acquisition in Tarun Tahiliani

Aditya Birla Fashion now holds 51% stake in Goodview Fashion.

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) has acquired a majority stake in Goodview Fashion Private Limited (manufacturer and ethnic couture brand ‘Tarun Tahiliani’) by increasing its stake from 33.5% to 51%, by way of secondary purchase from existing shareholders.

Khaitan & Co advised ABFRL on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Shourya Sengupta (Partner), Sneh Lata (Principal Associate) and Arka Banerjee Choudhury (Senior Associate).

Following the transaction, Goodview Fashion Private Limited became a subsidiary of ABFRL effective July 11, 2024.
