Federal Bank is acquiring a segment of Standard Chartered Bank’s Indian credit card portfolio.

Federal Bank is set to enter into a Deed of Assignment with Standard Chartered Bank, India for the acquisition of a segment of Standard Chartered Bank’s Indian credit card portfolio.

Khaitan & Co is advising Federal Bank on this transaction. The Firm played a key role in structuring and executing the transaction, including undertaking legal due diligence on the portfolio, advising on complex legal and regulatory considerations, leading negotiations, and drafting and finalising the transaction documents.
