Godrej Properties Limited has acquired prime 5 acres land parcel located off EM Bypass, Kolkata, from WBHIDCO, with an estimated revenue potential of ₹1,650 crore.

Khaitan & Co advised Godrej Properties on this land acquisition. The Firm provided end-to-end legal advice, assistance and practical solutions to facilitate closure of the comprehensive real estate due diligence, identifying key issues regarding title, possession and advising the client regarding mitigation measures to ensure seamless acquisition of the said land enabling future avenues for commercial exploitation.
