Khaitan & Co advises HDFC Bank on providing ₹500 crore financing to Maiva Pharma

The funds will be utilised for a greenfield project for manufacturing of sterile injectables.

HDFC Bank Limited has granted a Rupee facility aggregating to ₹500 crore, with a non-fund based sublimit in form of letter of credit facility to Maiva Lifesciences Private Limited and Maiva Pharma Private Limited.

Khaitan & Co advised HDFC Bank on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Arijit Sarkar (Partner), Chirag Gohil (Senior Associate), Siddhant Shetty (Senior Associate) and Charul Lunia (Associate).

Maiva Pharma

Starting operations in 1996, Maiva Pharma has two decades of experience in manufacturing Sterile Injectables. The company manufactures sterile solutions in vials and ampoules and has lyophilization capability as well.

The funds will be utilised for a greenfield project for manufacturing of sterile injectables.
