NovoJuris Legal acts on Gamepoint Pre-Series A fundraise

Gamepoint is looking to use the investment to expand its network of professionally managed multi-sport centres across the country.

Netplay Sports Private Limited (Gamepoint) has raised ₹7 crore from a Pre-Series A fundraise led by Dr Raj P Narayanam (Founder of Zaggle) and Aditya Vuchi (General Partner at VCMint), with participation from Praveen Raju (Founder of Suchitra Academy) and other unnamed investors.

NovoJuris Legal acted as the legal counsel for investors Dr Raj P Narayanam, Aditya Vuchi, and Praveen Raju on this fundraise. The Firm advised the investors in relation to the entire investment transaction, including conducting a legal due diligence and thereafter drafting and negotiating the transaction documents. NovoJuris’ involvement included facilitating discussions to align stakeholders on key transaction objectives and contributed to a well- structured and efficient investment process.

The transaction team included Amol Chitnis (Junior Partner), Associates Ritvik Joseph Mario and Jay Dutta, with guidance from Sharda Balaji (Founding & Managing Partner).
