SAM acts on JSW Energy ₹3,000 crore preferential issue

Equity shares aggregating to about ₹500 crore and warrants aggregating to about ₹2,500 crore, were issued to JTPM Metal Traders Limited.

JSW Energy Limited has raised approximately ₹3,000 crore through a preferential allotment of equity shares and convertible warrants.

The fund raise comprises issuance of approximately 95,23,809 equity shares aggregating to about ₹500 crore and 4,76,19,047 warrants aggregating to about ₹2,500 crore, to JTPM Metal Traders Limited. Each warrant carries the right to subscribe to one equity share of the Company within a period of 18 months from the date of allotment.
