SAM advises Consortium of Lenders on ₹2,623 crore transmission project financing

The finances were sanctioned to Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission for the development of a dedicated renewable energy transmission project in Madhya Pradesh.

A consortium of lenders, led by Standard Chartered Bank, has provided senior secured project financing of ₹2,623.20 crore to Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission Limited for the development of a dedicated renewable energy transmission project in Madhya Pradesh.

The lending consortium comprised Standard Chartered Bank (as Lead Arranger), YES Bank Limited, ICICI Bank Limited, Union Bank of India, and Punjab National Bank.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised the lending consortium on this financing transaction.

The transaction team was led by Anurag Dwivedi (Partner), which consisted of Shashwat Bhaskar (Senior Associate) and Sanidhya Parashar (Associate).
