Trilegal acts on Chartered Speed ₹855 crore IPO

This deal is the first IPO in the bus mobility space.

Chartered Speed Limited has proposed an initial public offering of equity shares aggregating up to ₹855 crore, comprising a fresh issue aggregating up to ₹655 crore an offer for sale by the promoter selling shareholders aggregating up to ₹200 crore.

Trilegal is advising Chartered Speed on this IPO.

The transaction team is led by Abhinav Maker (Partner) and consists of Ajo Jomy (Counsel) and Associates Debarpita Pande, Jayant Saxena, Mrinal Kumar, Animan Sharma, and Kaushik Parkhe.

Chartered Speed Limited is a passenger mobility company in India with an operational bus fleet of over 2,000 vehicles as of June 30, 2025. It has over 15 years of experience in the mobility sector and its extensive network spans 500 cities, enabling it to serve approximately 3.5 lakh passengers daily. As part of the Company’s inter-city and intra-city services, it undertakes purchase, operation and maintenance of buses, including EV buses. It has set a target to convert 25% of its fleet into EV buses by Fiscal 2027, with an intention of phasing out its current vehicles operated using fossil fuels.                                                                                                            

This deal is the first IPO in the bus mobility space.
