Trilegal advised RMZ Group on its Joint Venture with Fidelity owned Colt Data Centre Services to develop and operationalise data centres across India.
The parties have committed $1.7 billion through a mix of debt and equity, to develop three data centres
Trilegal handled the structuring the transaction; due diligence of the data center projects, drafting, negotiating and finalised the transaction documents.

RMZ entered into the JV through its subsidiary RMZ Digital Infrastructure Partners on November 19
As a part of this transaction, RMZ Group entities will acquire stakes in two data centres - in Navi Mumbai and Chennai – as the initial projects that will form part of the platform. The JV is considering cities like Pune and Hyderabad for its third centre, though the location is yet to be finalised.
The Navi Mumbai centre is expected to have a capacity of 134 megawatts (MW) and the Chennai facility, a capacity of 80 MW. The three centres will have a combined capacity of 250 MW over the next three to five years.
